CURRY AND SPICE

A self taught cook and foodlover, I enjoy the time spent in my kitchen. Listed here are a series of my tried and tested recipes learnt from the family and elsewhere. They are simple & easy; done with kitchen staples. Some of them are experimental. Of them, only those which appeal to my family's tastebuds more or less are shared in the Blog.

About Me

My photo
CURRY AND SPICE
Cooking is my passion. The eagerness to curate the family recipes took me into blogging. I wish to highlight Bengali Food in my Blog, the place I belong. I would try to connect my place of stay with my country of origin in maximum of my recipes, taking along the rest of the world at times; paying due respect to the varied kind of visitors to my Blog. Thanks World for taking interest in my primitive, regional, rustic dishes; you surprise me! I also wish to share other Indian recipes I have learnt from around using regular kitchen ingredients. My recipes are homely, economic, simple; simpler are my bakes in which I take a lot of interest. I fear anything that is complicated. I am yet to learn a lot wherein cooking is concerned, I am driven by the passion or love for it or by default may be. I believe we should always pursue our passion, irrespective if at all we have expertise in that arena or do not. Life to me is being positive. I love music, to read, write and travel. I find peace amidst nature, enjoy its serenity.
